Inspiring sake pairing lesson -SAI SHOKU KEN BI-
This lesson will be taught by Makiko Tejima, a sake stylist certified by the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, which has over 13,000 member sake breweries across Japan. Based on her 20-year career of promoting sake culture, participants will learn the basics of sake while tasting to see how the wide range of flavor types of sake can change in taste when paired with other foods. Through this experience, you will be able to get the hang of what type of sake to choose to go with not only Japanese food, but also various other types of cuisine. So, even after you return to your home country, you will be able to enjoy sake with not only Japanese food, but also the cuisine of your country. This is a lesson where you can learn authentic content in a fun and practical way in a casual atmosphere in small classes.
