The young 23rd generation head of the family, Ozawa Mikio, continues to take on various challenges to ensure the future of the historic brewery he inherited. This brewery is located in the rich natural environment of Okutama in Tokyo, and all of the water, which is so important for sake brewing, is natural water, a gift from that environment. Sawanoi, a sake brewery that has been loved by locals for over 300 years while protecting precious nature in the big city of Tokyo. By visiting this brewery, you will be able to discover Tokyo’s wonderful sake culture.
